SBA to conduct
financing roundtable in Manistee
The U.S. Small
Business Administration will conduct a financing roundtable at
the Women’s
Economic
Resource
Center
on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 5:30 pm at the Tuscan Grille. Joni
Purgiel, National City Branch Manager and Women’s Advocate,
and Catherine Gase, SBA Women Business Owner Representative for
Michigan
, will facilitate the roundtable.
“This session
is best suited to those who have good credit, a solid business
idea, and some money to invest in their business,” said Gase.
“We’ve conducted hundreds of these financing
roundtables throughout the state over the past 10 years with
overwhelming success. You
really do learn the ins and outs of financing your business.”
“We are
pleased to be able to bring this unique opportunity to learn
more about business financing to entrepreneurs in Manistee,”
said Judy Crockett, President of the Women’s
Economic
Resource
Center
. “We recently asked our membership to identify their concerns
and needs, and business financing was a top issue.”
The roundtable
is limited to 15 participants to allow for individual attention.
The focus of the
roundtable will be credit criteria of commercial lenders and the
SBA guaranteed loan programs.

their own business. For
